Bellet rosé, the wine of the Nice summer

Verres de rosé trinqués lors d'une dégustation de vin à Nice

When summer arrives on the French Riviera, one wine is enjoyed more than any other: Bellet rosé, from the tiny Nice vineyard. Rare, fresh, and refined, it's the quintessential local aperitif wine.

A rosé unlike any other

Made primarily from local grape varieties Braquet and Folle Noire, Bellet rosés stand out for their elegance and freshness — a far cry from industrial rosés. Like the entire appellation, they are produced in small quantities.

What to pair it with

It pairs wonderfully with summer Niçoise cuisine: salade niçoise, pan-bagnat, small stuffed vegetables, or simply a platter in the shade of a plane tree. Serve well chilled, but not overly so.
